Meet Our Eye Care Specialists

Dr. Wes Molenaar

Dr. Wes Molenaar received his undergraduate education at Hope College and Purdue University and graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry. He practices general optometry and holds a specialty in contact lenses and low vision. Dr. Wes is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, Chicago South Side Optometric Association, and a charter member of the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association. In local community affairs, he is a member of the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Lansing Lions Club.

Dr. Brant Molenaar

Dr. Brant Molenaar received his undergraduate education at Purdue University and graduated from the Indiana University College of Optometry in 1993. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. Dr. Brant's area of practice focuses on pre- and post-operative care of laser-vision-correction and cataract patients, as well as the treatment and care of ocular diseases including glaucoma. He also specializes in pediatric optometric care, plus cares for the vision needs of all the developmentally disabled special needs citizens at LARC in Lansing. In addition, Dr. Brant takes time away from the practice volunteering on medical care vision trips to Haiti. He also keeps himself busy in his spare time by being a youth leader in his church.
